Flourishing Coast :: Happy May Day!

Well, the coast is really in full bloom now. Flowers had been popping up slowly, but now every single flower is blooming in my yard...and my apple tree is green again. Yea! Hope everyone is having a beautiful spring day...if not, I'll share my flowers with you. : )

And what type of weather makes these beautiful flowers grow? Some not so beautiful weather...

Yeah, the winter storms are a little rough...and Loud!

PS I'm starting something new...something I should have been doing all along...I'm going to reply to your comments in the comment section. I've already caught up a little from last week...so if you left a comment (starting last Tuesday, I think) you'll find my reply in the comments!

Well, today was OAKS Day, the big day for fillies to race before the Kentucky Derby...and a day full of visitors to our supposed-to-be-beautiful sunny day in the South. It POURED down almost all day! And none of our weather men with their super-duper million-dollar Doppler radar equipment predicted it! And no umbrellas are allowed at Churchill Downs. You should have seen the unsuspecting crowds in their soaked finery!
Your flowers make up for it!
Love,
Aunt Adele

Beautiful pictures. Except the bottom one by itself. Kinda black. Suppose to be that way to represent the darkness of winter. Sitting here looking at your blogs and listening to Click and Clack the Tappet Brothers on Car Talk.

I noticed you took away the letters we have to key in to post on your blog. How come? Because I, the old blind man, could not read them?

The bottom picture is actually a movie of a rainstorm...you just gotta wait for a minute or two for it to load.

And I got rid of the letters because they were actually pointless since I moderate all the comments anyway. But...also...because you are a blind old man. ha ha ha : )

Aunt Adele - I had no idea they didn't allow umbrellas in Churchhill Downs.

And what a bummer that's rainy!! That makes for a sad Derby Day! It's actually kinda hazy here today, too!
